A man has appeared in court in connection with the fire at Wythenshawe Hall.

Jeremy Taylor, aged 26, from Wythenshawe has been charged with arson and appeared before Manchester Magistrates’ Court where he was bailed to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 20 April 2016.

Shortly after 3.30am on Tuesday 15 March 2016 police and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called after a fire broke out in the timber-framed Wythenshawe Hall.
