A man will appear in court this morning charged in connection with two shootings in Wythenshawe.

Adam Coombes, 23, of Crowland Road, Newall Green has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He will appear before Manchester Magistrates Court today.

The charges relate to shootings in Newall Green and at the Mountain Ash pub in Woodhouse Park.
