Two teenagers have been arrested following a spate of nine burglaries in Wythenshawe over the weekend.
The arrest of the 16-year-old follows a burglary that happened on Wexford Walk in the early hours of Sunday morning (24 March 2019).
The burglary is the latest to be reported over the weekend with a similar set of circumstances. A watch, laptop and a car – which has since been recovered – were taken from the address.
Another teenager who was arrested in Tayfield Park on Saturday (23 March 2019) and is also 16, has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
His arrest was in connection with eight incidents that were reported to the City of Manchester Division.
