AVRO 4 – 0 Wythenshawe Town

Wythenshawe Town’s woes continue following another thumping, this time at the hands of second-placed AVRO.

The Wythenshawe club remain with just four points, having lost seven of their nine games this season.

And Town will be hoping for better fortunes when they face East Manchester away next Saturday (October 5).

Meanwhile, Wythenshawe Amateurs have not played this weekend and Walshaw Sports and Prestwich Heys were able to take advantage – Walshaw with victory over Manchester Gregorians  and Prestwich picking up a point at East Manchester.

Amateurs slip to seventh in the league with a game in hand and will be hoping to reassert their credentials as championship contenders when they host second-placed AVRO next Saturday (Oct 5).
