The Wythenshawe Town FC success story continued at the weekend when they were crowned champions of Cheshire League One.
The club could not quite repeat the stunning exploits of last season when they were promoted from League Two unbeaten, earning the title of the Wythenshawe Invincibles.
But Town, who secured promotion last week, finished top of League One, having lost just three games this season.

And the Ericstan Park club secured the championship in style with two thumping successive victories this week. They started with a 6-0 win at home against Grappenhall Sports as James Green scored four goals to add to his already impressive tally for the season.
And the title was finally clinched by two points on Saturday with a 5-1 win away at Tarporley Victoria.
Altrincham Reserves finished as league runners up as they beat Middlewich Town 4-0 at home.
