Leisure centre revamp keeps Wythenshawe fighting fit

Wythenshawe Forum Trust has pledged to get more people active in the local community as part of a new partnership with leisure provider Everyone Active and has seen several upgrades to its leisure and fitness facilities since the new operation began in December 2018.

Ongoing works will include refurbished reception and café areas, 25 Keiser spin bikes, two Wattbikes and a free weights area in the gym. A wider variety of fitness classes will also be available to the community.

Kate Cusack, contract manager at the Forum, said: “Keeping local people active in the community is at the heart of everything we do. Everyone Active is a leader in the leisure industry and since taking over leisure operations at the Forum in December, has started to introduced huge improvements for our members.”
