Wythenshawe MP, Mike Kane has called on his rival candidates in the general election to unite to oppose the bedroom tax.
The Labour MP has made the call after revealing that 3038 tenants in the Wythenshawe and Sale East constituency face the controversial levy – more than in any other constituency in the UK.
The charge is levied against anyone living in social housing who is deemed to have one or more ‘spare’ bedrooms.
