Christmas celebrations started yesterday for Wythenshawe Town with the perfect end to the year as they demolished West Didsbury and Chorlton Reserves 8-0.
Ben Brooks notched up a hat trick and more goals came from Ben Connolly (2), Ash Woodhead (2) and one from Remi Williams.

Wythenshawe Town’s dream season is showing no sign of faltering after another impressive victory in a five goal thriller in the quarter finals of the Altrincham FA Senior Cup.
Goals from Remmi Williams, Ashley Woodhead and Ben Brooks secured their semi-final place which will be against cup holders AFC Quarry.
Warrington Town Reserves 0 – 2 Wythenshawe Town
Wythenshawe Town continued their excellent form with victory over Warrington Reserves to make it through to the quarter finals of the J A Walton Challenge Cup.
The game opened very scrappily with neither side managing to take a grip of the match. 16 minutes saw the first chance when Remmi Williams crossed the ball to the edge of the box where it was met by a Ben Connolly volley; the ball span just over the goal. A minute later after good work on the left wing, the ball was cut back to Lee McGregor who fired well over from far out. Wythenshawe Town moved five points clear at the top of the Cheshire League 2 with two games in hand following another impressive victory.
