Wythenshawe Town 4 – 0 Witton Albion Reserves

Wythenshawe Town moved five points clear at the top of the Cheshire League 2 with two games in hand following another impressive victory.

Town welcomed 8th placed Witton Albion Reserves to Ericstan Park and it didn’t take long for Wythenshawe to take the lead in the match as Ben Brooks flicked a header in from close range and it nestled in the far corner.

Wythenshawe scored their second goal in the 52nd minute when Paul Walley couldn’t manage to fire it home from a flicked effort but it didn’t matter as Ben Connolly tap it in to double the lead. Just 10 minutes late Jonathan Rand headed it home from a free kick.

With 89 minutes gone, Remmi Williams won a battle for a long ball and fired into the far corner to finish off the match.
