Wythenshawe Town begin their preparations for the new season with a tough friendly against Oldham Athletic’s youth team on Saturday (July 4).
Town made history last season by winning every competitive game, securing promotion to Cheshire League Division 1 and winning four cups, earning the title the Wythenshawe Invincibles.
But their first friendly before the new season kicks off will be a difficult test for the team which will giving a run-out to new signings to take on Tony Philliskirk’s young Latics.
The game will kick-off at 1pm, and the admission for the game will be £2 for adults, £1 for concessions and free for U16’s.
