Brutal Wythenshawe double rapist jailed for 18 years

CARLANTHONYWESTONA Wythenshawe sex beast who subjected a woman to a brutal and terrifying rape has been jailed for 18 years.

Carl Anthony Weston, aged 43, (also known by the surname of NEEDHAM), from Wythenshawe, punched his victim and attacked her with an aerosol and dustpan and brush before raping her on 23 December 2012

Wythenshawe man convicted of brutal rape

A Wythenshawe man threw hot tea over a woman and brutally attacked her with an aerosol and a dustpan and brush before raping her.

Wythenshawe man who made false rape claim was fined £90

The Wythenshawe man who made a false allegation of rape was fined just £90, it has been revealed.

Police refused to name the 22-year-old man, who sparked fear in Wythenshawe when he made the false claim in October, because he was dealt by a fixed penalty notice for wasting police time.

Victims of sexual offences are given lifelong anonymity but lose that right if they are charged with offences relating to making a false claim. But Greater Manchester Police said it is not their policy to name people who are given fixed penalty notices.

And when the Wythenshawe Reporter asked police why the bogus victim was given the  penalty rather than being dealt with by the courts, they issued the following statement: “A Fixed Penalty Notice is a tool police officers have to deal with a number of cases, of which this is one.

Man who sparked fear in Wythenshawe after making false rape claim is given fixed penalty notice

A Wythenshawe man who made a false allegation he had been raped has been given a fixed penalty notice.

Police have refused to name the 22-year-old man who made the false claim in October which sparked concern in Wythenshawe.

Teenager arrested in connection with sexual assault in Wythenshawe is released on police bail

A 19-year-old arrested on suspicion of a sexual assault in Wythenshawe has been released by police.

Police released the teenager on bail while they continue to investigate reports of a sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl shortly after 11.20pm on Wednesday 24 October 2013 on Wythenshawe Road.
