
Firefighters were called after a car caught fire following a crash on Wythenshawe Road, Northern Moor.
The driver fled from the scene after the car hit parked vehicles and overturned before bursting into flames.
The road was cordoned off while firefighters tackled the blaze. No-one was injured.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “We were called at around 6.25pm to reports of a car on fire. A vehicle had been travelling at speed. The car lost control, before clipping parked vehicles and ending up on its roof.
“The person has made off from the vehicle. The fire was put out by the fire brigade.”
A fire service spokesman said: “We were called at 6.20pm to reports of an RTC involving two cars and a van on Wythenshawe Road.
“One of the cars was on its roof and on fire. We used one hose reel and one breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
“The street has been cordoned off.”
